Day 8: Sweet tooth holiday Recipe

Soft Sugar Cookies. I made these the other day and they turned out perfect. They are not that death sweet with a linger "YACK" in your mouth, but just enough to get your thru that craving. I needed a cheap cookie recipe for trial so the girls can leave SANTA some goodies on the night of Christmas eve and use ingredients that I already had in my pantry and I found this lovely recipe online. So if your looking for a simple cookie that you and your kids can decorate to your liking her it is. Yields 2 Dozens. 2 large eggs 2/3 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoons vanilla 1 cup white sugar 2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt Directions: 1 Beat together eggs, oil, vanilla and sugar; add flour, baking powder and salt and mix well. 2 Drop by heaping teaspoon approx 3" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. 3 Flatten with bottom of glass moistened with water and dipped in sugar. 4 Bake at 400°F for 6-10 minutes or just until lightly golden. Happy baking!!!! - blogging on the go with my iphone!
